Sixteen total before graduation. The GPA floor in those courses — not your overall GPA — is what the NCAA looks at.

CIF SDS transcripts are what coaches request when they are serious about a San Diego kid. Your counselor can tell you which courses at your school count as NCAA-approved core courses. Not every class does. AP classes count. Some electives do not. Have this conversation before junior year begins, not after.
